TrackMaven, a competitive analysis firm, has released a study on how Fortune 500 companies are using Instagram. Instagram recently announced that it has over 150 million users, 16 billion photos share, 1.2 Billion likes daily and on average 55M photos per day. The study found that 123 of the Fortune 500 are active on Instagram. The study suggests that posting during business hours, Weekends & in Evenings can help companies. Companies do the most Post on Thursday.
Hashtags have a significant impact on the success of Instagram accounts. 3 most Popular Photo filters are Normal, Lo-Fi & X-Pro 11. Some of the top Companies with the most Instagram followers are Nike, StarBucks & Foot Locker. Some of the top Companies with the most Photos are Foot Locker, VF Corporation & NordStorm.
