Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Mi3 in India at an insane price of Rs 14,999. Pre-registartions for the phone is available from july 15th onwards & at this price level it has created a great interest in the mobile market. The tech specs & hardware of the phone is available in some high end phones like Nexus 5, Sony xperia z & others at a high price point.
It has a 5-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor@2.3GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB of memory, a 13-MP camera & a dual-LED flash. It runs on Android jelly bean 4.2 with a customized MIUI on top. Xiaomi’s phones have been sold out in countries where it was launched earlier in a short time span & one has to register early to have a hands on the phone. It recently hired Jabong’s co-founder Manu Jain as the head of operations in India. With Android L to be launched in the coming months, will Xiaomi provide regular Andorid updates..?
