mPassportSeva Mobile App on Google Play, Windows & Apple iOS Stores

Ministry of External Affairs has extended its mobile app service for “mPassportSeva” to Windows & iOS app stores. The app was first launched for Google android on July 11. This is one of the largest projects under National e-Governence plan of Govt of India. The mobile app project is executed on a PPP model with TCS as the private partner. The project is already operational and servicing citizens through 77 Passport Seva Kendras across India

The app provides info on center location, Fee, Application Status & others. Some of the salient features of the app are application status, RTI status, fee calculator, status tracker & other details.

Google Play Books & Movies now in India

Google has launched books & movies on Google play in India. Movies are available for rental & purchase in India. This service is currently available in 13 countries now. With the booming of Indian mobile market, it makes a perfect move for Google to make available movies on Google play. Books have also been added to the Google play which ranges from Indian titles to classics. Many international best sellers are also available in the store.
