Indian Railways has launched their official android App on Google Play Store called IRCTC Connect. Users can use their existing login details to login & book tickets, cancel tickets, search & other activities on the app. This is a good move by the Railways as a large number of people have android smartphones & wiil increase the usage of the app. Earlier it was available for Blackberry app store. Going by the screenshots of the app, a right combination of color, navigation has been used in the app.
Google has released the 2013 search trends which provides an overview of what places, movies, people & other things people are looking. This year provides for 1,000+ top 10 lists across various categories from 72 countries. Globally Nelson Mandela is the #1 trending search followed by Paul Walker & iPhone 5s.

2) Top trending In India are Chennai Express, IPL 2013, Aashiqui 2 & UIDAI.
3) Among People Sunny Leone, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Paukone & SRK are in the top 5 list.
4) Aashiqui 2, Chennai Express, Krrish 3, Dhoom 3 are the top 4 movies.
Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation(IRCTC), the ticketing arm of Indian Railways, has launched IRCTC shopping at the URL shop.irctc.co.in. This has been launched in partnership with Yebhi.com. The user interface of the portal is similar to Yebhi’s e commerce website with IRCTC brand logo on the top left corner. IRCTC has millions of registered users & this shopping site would provide a huge revenue for the company. Deals of the day is also provided at the top right corner of the site.
Some of the categories on the site include Men, Women, Kids, electronics & others. standard payment options of Credit card, Dedit card, net-banking, EMI option and Cash-on-delivery (COD) is available & has been listed on the site. Aramex, Fedex, Bluedart & EMS are some of the shipping partners. The products on offer are apparel, shoes, accessories, mobiles, tablets, electronic goods & others.
