A New Automobile Marketing Revolution & it is called Tata Hexa Experience

When I got the invite to Tata Hexa Experience by Indiblogger, was very excited & eager to attend the event. This is a one of a kind experience put up by Tata to showcase their latest marvel called “Hexa”. It was held in the White Orchid convention centre in Bangalore.

About the Event

Spread over a very large area, the event had all the hall marks of a one of its kind show stopper. Not only for the auto enthusiasts, it had food joints, other Tata products like Watches, Croma store & others for the shopping aficionados. The highlight of the show was the music by one of the well knows music groups of India, which added vibrant hues to the glittering event.
At the event- both or-road & off-road experience was available. Off-road experience was great with such challenging features which would challenge even a hard-core auto enthusiast. Test drive of the car was great which helped understand more features of the car.
The event was held over a period of 3 days. On the social media front, such keywords like #tata #hexa #experience was trending. This has given a lot of visibility on the social media front. With the Indian auto sector expanding rapidly, such an experience would give visitors a lot of understanding about the car. It was also a family & fun filled event with the children actively engaged in xbox, playing puppies & other fun filled activities.

About Hexa

Hexa is one of the best designed cars from the Tata stable in the recent times. The Hexa will certainly benefit with the renewed focus on quality and the new design language. It is a power packed & loaded with lot of features. Rugged with masculine features. Hexa will compete with Toyota Innova crysta, XUV 500 & others.
The latest SUV from Tata is based on the Aria and would certainly provide a new market for Tata to focus on which is growing rapidly. Tata’s new focus on quality & design is evident right from moment you step into Hexa.
Measures 4,764mm in length, 1,895mm in length, 1,780mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,850mm. Hexa has a sporty design from front to rear. Rear bumpers, dual exhaust along with new reflectors. The tail lamps come with LED lamps. The Hexa has a ground clearance of 200 mm. It has a fuel tank capacity of 60-litres.
The Hexa also has ‘Super Drive Modes’ system. The driving modes include- Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road. 10-speaker JBL Audio System and Super Driving Modes along with good score on the safety front provides a great advantage for Hexa. The top models of Hexa will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission which would provide a wide variety of options for the users to choose from.
Connect Next App control will help today’s generation of people to connect their app & get all the features on the car’s infotainment system.
One of the main features is automatic climate control with separate AC for rear & 3rd row. Also available in top end car is the leather upholstery, steering mounted controls along with retractable mirrors. Two airbags, parking sensors along with rear view camera. All Wheel drive By Borg Warner is a plus for Hexa.
Also with a Varicor 400 – a 2.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine, it is one of the most powerful SUV’s out there. Available in Arizona Blue, Tungsten silver, Pearl white, Sky grey & other colors.

Conclusion

To conclude, the event was a great first-hand experience for the auto enthusiasts to get all the information on the rugged & power packed Hexa along with a wholesome family entertainment.

Tata Group is the India’s most valuable brand followed by LIC, SBI, Airtel & Reliance as per the report from Brandirectory. Tata Group is valued at $21 Billion, LIC $4.1 billion & SBI at $4 Billion. HCL’s brand value has increased moving to 12 th spot from 14th spot in 2013. Govt run companies Among the top 10 are LIC, SBI, ONGC, IOC. Infosys is the top IT company at 9th spot. By investing in branding, customer satisfaction, engagement & other related activities, Indian companies can move up the brand value.

India Mobile Service Providers Market Share for 2013 – Bharti, Vodafone, Idea, Reliance, BSNL, Aircel, Tata, Telewings & others

TRAI has released the latest figures for wireless & Wireline subscribers in India for year ending 2013 Dec 31st. Total of 886.30 million mobile subscribers with 28.89 wireline subscribers. There is a monthly growth of 0.59% in Mobile. Share of Urban subscribers is 59.42% & Rural is 40.58%. Total Broadband (> 512 Kbps) subscription is 55.20 million at the end of Dec, 2013. Total phone subscribers is 915.19 million at the end of December 2013.

Mobile Number Portability requests increased from 106.87 million subscribers at the end of Nov, 2013 to 109.37 million at the end of Dec, 2013. The overall Teledensity in India stands at 74.02% for Dec, 2013. Private operators hold 88.73% of the mobile subscriber market share where as BSNL and MTNL, the two PSU operators hold only 11.27% market share.

Interbrand India has unveiled the 30 most valuable Indian brands. For any brand, it is the value it achieves is of paramount importance. Several Indian brands have been popular in India after Independence. With the opening of Indian economy for MNC’s in the 90’s, Indian brands have come a long way. Interbrand’s brand valuation methodology determines the contribution that the brand makes to the business’s results.

Several new & old companies have made it to the top 30 list. The sectors are also varied ranging from telecom, financial services, tehcnology, energy, automotive, FMCG & others. TATA tops the table with $10,907M brand value. Tata is followed by Reliance, Airtel, SBI, Infosys in the top 5 position. Banking powerhouse SBI & other banking giants like Axis bank, ICICI, Bank of Baroda, PNB & Union Bank have made it to the top 30 list.
