Milaap : The Hope Project – How Crowdfunding is Empowering Rural Women Entrepreneurs?

Attended the Milaap Indiblogger #HopeProject On Sunday the 15th at Microsoft Research India labs, Bangalore. The Bloggers meet was a great platform to know about the Crowdfunding activities & how Milaap is acting as a platform & changing the way people fund. Got to know first hand from people who are getting crowdfunding from Millap.

The Hope Project is a campaign that plans to inspire urban masses towards empowering rural women entrepreneurs through small contributions. The Hope Project seeks to shed some myths about the Devadasi system and invites small loans for the micro enterprises of these women. You can select one or many areas which interests you. You can make a loan & borrowers receive 100% of your money. You will get updates from Millap on the progress. Education, Energy, Sanitation & others are some of the impact areas to fund for.
